This is a new project set up this year – it is very closely associated with law mentoring but with one key difference – it involves pairing a KCL student with an AS or A Level Law student at Kingsbury high school. The mentor helps his/her buddy with any academic issues they have and may also discuss options for the future, such as university

we currently have 12 one to one law mentors and this will increase in the next year  - they make weekly visits to Kingsbury high school and alongside giving general advice and acting as a source of support or advice, the mentors do past a level law papers with them and guide them through the ucas process –
