Pro Bono Activity Details - Kaplan Law School

Mediation Advice Clinic

Short Description

The clinic is run with Mayer Brown and LawWorks. We assist with determining whether a dispute is suitable to go for mediation, rather than the court.

Long Description

The aim of the Mediation Advice Centre is to inform and assist peope with resolving their disputes without the use of the court. This helps save money, court time and relieves stress from the client.

The scheme helps students develop their interviewing and case analysis skills. After examining the details of the clients case it is up to them to determine whether the facts lend themselves towards mediation.
